QArriving with your tent, caravan or camping car or intending to rent an accommodation, we are sure we will be able to make you happy among our pitches and rentals. For those who prefer nature and traditional camping, our shady pitches with electricity will make them happy!
For those who prefer some comfort, our modern mobil-homes with bathroom, separate toilet, heating, and a wooden terrace with outside furniture, will be perfect, mixing the friendly atmosphere of the campsite and the comfort of a real accommodation.
The 2-hectare natural area of ​​the campsite is a real breath of fresh air.
In the natural parkland of the campsite, you’ll find the picnic tables, table tennis tables, fitness area, football field, volleyball, basketball and a direct access to the river Ardèche.

The whole team at the Domaine de Gil campsite is delighted to welcome you for your next holiday in the Ardèche, whether it’s on a pitch with your caravan or motorhome, or renting a mobile home, from 18 April to 28 September 2025.Nestling in a haven of greenery on the banks of the Ardèche river, our campsite offers a peaceful setting where you can relax away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. This natural environment is what makes our campsite so charming. But it’s not its only asset.
Our campsite offers services and infrastructure that have earned it a 4-star campsite rating.
If you are staying on a camping pitch in a caravan, tent or motorhome, you will benefit from a spacious and shaded pitch with an electric hook-up.
The campsite also boasts a modern, well-maintained sanitary block with shower, toilet and WC, as well as a laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer.
A cabin is also provided for people with reduced mobility.
If you choose to rent a mobile home, you’ll enjoy all the comforts of a real little house that can sleep up to 6 people.
These modern 2-, 3- or 4-bedroom mobile homes are equipped with air conditioning and heating, a fully-equipped kitchen, a bathroom with shower and a terrace with garden furniture.
The ideal place to relax after a hike in the Monts d’Ardèche regional park or a canoe trip in the Gorges de l’Ardèche.
A restaurant with Ardèche specialities à la carte
Our restaurant and snack bar offer simple yet sophisticated cuisine, with specialities from the Ardèche on the à la carte menu, as well as some great classics such as pizzas and fries, which are also available to take away. The poolside terrace is a great place to enjoy a good meal with the family or share a drink with friends.
If, however, you prefer to cook in your mobile home or on your camping pitch, you’ll find a grocery shop on our campsite stocked with basic necessities (pasta, rice, tinned food, cakes, gas cartridges, hygiene and cleaning products), as well as regional delicacies. Every morning, fresh bread and pastries await you to make your breakfast a delightful start to the day.
Water fun on your Ardèche campsite
The 27° heated swimming pool at camping le Domaine de Gil will delight families. Children can play for hours while their parents relax in the bubbling waters of the spa. The little ones will enjoy the water games in our paddling pool.
If you prefer white-water swimming, the campsite has direct access to the River Ardèche, with a beach facing a pretty waterfall. It’s the ideal place for a refreshing swim or to get out the paddle boards. This beach backs onto a two-hectare wooded natural area that is ideal for both sporting activities and relaxing.
Sports enthusiasts will find plenty to do on the tennis court, outdoor fitness area, multi-sports pitch, volleyball court and ping-pong tables. If you’re more in the mood for relaxation, picnic tables are at your disposal.
This is also where you’ll find bouncy castles, mini-golf and a children’s play area.
In addition to the Ardèche river which runs alongside our campsite, the Domaine de Gil is located in a region of water.
It’s just a few kilometers from the spa town of Vals-les-Bains, renowned for the benefits of its waters and thermal cures.
It’s an ideal destination for pampering yourself with massages or mineral-rich baths.

Even if holidays are a time to disconnect from everyday life, the wifi network at the Domaine de Gil campsite will allow you to share your most beautiful photos of the Ardèche with your friends and family on social networks.

A campsite in the Ardèche with entertainment and activities for the whole family
In July and August, the Domaine de Gil entertainment team puts together a varied programme of activities for children and their parents.
From Monday to Friday, they offer craft workshops and outdoor games for children.
Older children can meet up on the sports fields for football or volleyball tournaments and at the swimming pool for morning aquagym sessions.
In the evening, the bar terrace hosts concerts, magic shows, karaoke and dance evenings.
All this family-friendly entertainment does not detract from the tranquillity of the campsite.
The entertainment stops before midnight to ensure that the nights on our campsite are as peaceful as possible.

In collaboration with regional partners, the Domaine de Gil campsite organizes sports activities outside the campsite.
Depending on your preferences, you can take part in hiking in the Ardèche, canoe trips in the Gorges de l’Ardèche, canyoning, climbing, or caving.
For children, we suggest a tree climbing park close to the campsite.
At the reception, we are at your disposal to advise you on the best places to visit around our campsite.
During your stay, don’t miss the medieval town of Aubenas and its castle, Vogüé, listed as one of the most beautiful villages in France, Balazuc, a charming village perched on a cliff overlooking the Ardèche, the spectacular Gorges de l’Ardèche and the Pont d’Arc, a UNESCO World Heritage site, the Chauvet Cave, a mecca of cave art, the Aven d’Orgnac, the Pont du Diable, the Grotte de la Cocalière, the Mont Gerbier de Jonc, the Ray Pic waterfall and the Issarlès lake.
